How Lemon & Leaf reservations work.
Reserving a piece is simple — and everything you pay, owe and wait for is stated before you do it.
Every Lemon & Leaf piece belongs to a small, limited edit. Before an edit opens, we select the pieces, review samples where we can, and publish each one with its actual garment measurements, its full price, the amount due today, the balance remaining, the date reservations close and the window when delivery is expected. Nothing about the numbers is hidden or held until after you pay.
When a piece is open for reservations, you choose two things: your size, and how you would like to pay. Reserve today means you pay the stated deposit now and the remaining balance later, once your piece is confirmed and prepared. Pay in full means you settle the full amount now. The amount due today is always shown beside each option — there is no part-pay without a figure.
A reservation is a commitment, not a lottery. When reservations close — or when the available allocation is reached, whichever comes first — the release proceeds if its commercial and supplier conditions are satisfied. If the release is not confirmed, your deposit is refunded; the conditions and timing are set out on our Returns page.
Once the release is confirmed, the pieces are produced, consolidated and shipped to Kenya, where every order passes a local quality check before it reaches you. You receive updates at each major stage of the order: confirmed, prepared, shipped and quality checked.
The final step is yours: pay any outstanding balance and choose delivery or collection. That is the whole model — reserve, follow, receive — with the numbers stated at every point.
