The wording below is a draft, pending confirmation by the Lemon & Leaf team. Nothing here is final policy until the figures in brackets are confirmed.

If a release is not confirmed

A limited edit proceeds only when its commercial and supplier conditions are satisfied. If a release you reserved does not proceed, everything you paid is refunded in full — deposit or full payment — within [confirm: X working days] of the decision, to the payment method you used.

Deposits

A deposit secures your size in a limited allocation. It is refunded in full if:

• the release is not confirmed;
• you cancel before the release is confirmed (within [confirm: X hours/days] of reserving); or
• your piece does not pass our local quality check and no replacement is available in your size.

Once the release is confirmed and your piece is prepared, the deposit covers the commitment Lemon & Leaf has already made to produce it, and it is no longer refundable — the remaining balance becomes payable instead.

Sizing and exchanges

Assisted sizing comes first: every piece lists actual garment measurements, and we will help you choose on WhatsApp before you reserve. We would rather answer a question than process an exchange.

Ready Now purchases can be exchanged for a different size or another piece within [confirm: X days] of delivery, unworn and with tags attached. Exchanges are free in Nairobi; returns by post are at the customer's cost until confirmed otherwise.

Reserved pieces are made to the release specification, so exchanges after arrival are limited to [confirm: policy — e.g. defects and fitting faults only]. If a piece does not match the garment measurements listed on its product page, we will correct it: replacement, alteration or refund, at your choice.

Intimates are not eligible for exchange or return once worn, for hygiene reasons. Unworn pieces with tags follow the standard terms above.

Delays

Each piece carries an estimated arrival window. If that window moves, you are told when we know, with the reason and the new window. If the delay extends beyond the window stated on the product page, you may:

• keep your reservation and wait for the revised window;
• switch your reservation to another piece in the edit, subject to allocation; or
• cancel and receive a full refund of everything you have paid.

Rental pieces

Pieces offered for rental are borrowed for a defined period for a rental fee plus a refundable security deposit. The security deposit is refunded when the piece is returned on time and in good condition; deductions are itemised and explained in writing if anything is withheld.
